Yeah, I remember you went through a couple. Why did you end up getting rid of your 880 way back when?

It's in the CRX, never was in the Altima. It works perfect for the CRX.

Not much different, the chassis is copper on the 800, t/a may have changed slightly, I thnk hd or something else and the black face.

You can change to white illumination too. Go to the function menu with the HU off by keeping the multi control button down.

You really need to learn how to spell, its hard to read your posts and take you seriously.

LOL, I have found myself in that same situation. I am very satisfied with the 880 though. Once I took care of the whine, I really haven't looked back. The tuning options are perfect for my needs. And, well to me atleast, it is one of the best looking HU's out right now. Without getting crazy ofcoarse.

No question about that. It has been, however, the only issue I have experienced. Don, has Pioneer come up with a solution to this issue?

It has been ongoing since 2003, you really think they are going to take the time to address it now? No sir, they will continue to move forward with cool lights and fun **** to play with..

Its unfortunate too, since they have potential to be real good.

Why? RCAs are grounded to the chassis eventually anyway...

Who pays SRP? You never find them in the stores at srp, its usually 100 or so less.

Usually, some headunits have other issues that require some work arounds.

Use a thin flat head, and a rag, to pry it out.

I used to swap a headunit in my 4th gen in 10 minutes. It becomes second nature.
