350z head unit compatibility

Does anyone know if a head unit from an 06 350z will work with an 02 Max w/bose?

This is the one, off Ebay.

It'll plug in, but it may not fit the dash properly.

Ok. I was unclear if all Bose head units had the same connector set up. I'm pretty sure the 350 doesn't have the 8.1 speakers like my 02 max has.

I hate car audio.

It's far from 8.1.

The bose connectors are the same, and they changed in 07. From 95-06 they were the same for bose and non bose.

lol pardon my ignorance, I for some reason thought there were speakers in the rear doors.

it seems like the front of the radios both look the same so im assuming it would fit. stock looking mp3 player ftw.

thanks for your help!

There is A set of speakers in the rear doors. Four total speakers in the front, two in the rear doors and one 'sub'. 7 total in the vehicle.

Will it work? Most likely, but as mentioned fitment can and most likely will be an issue. IF it can physically fit, you would still need the GXE kit to accommodate it..

Only one 8" sub in a 02-03 max dude. Also, even with the GXE kit, that HU still looks kinda big. Don't know think it will fit.
