no sound...need help

no sound...need help

last night i removed my factory bose headunit from my 4th gen for a aftermarket in dash dvd/fm/cd player now im getting no sound i did a search and it sounds like i might need a convertor for the bose speakers? just wanted to confirm this based off my concern

when replacing head unit, I believe you normally have to get an adapter that converts the bose connection into your radio connection, so all the connects communicate with the new head unit. You also need to create a ground connection. I never changed without an aftermarket amp so maybe others can shed better light but antenna, ground and harness adapter are generally the triple threats needed to get a working aftermarket head unit. those seem to be the issue i have, cant figure out where the electric antenna goes and ground and of course no audio
