I don't wanna set it in there and then my trunk can't close...

why not take a tape measure and see if it will? *shrugs shoulders*

It's easier just be lazy and to post on the .Org than to get his rear end away from a keyboard long enough to do anything physical like taking a basic measurement.

i'm actually a work, car is 7 miles away from me, and I was going to order a box online while I was here. Just asked if anyone happened to know off the back.

i think that maybe a tad to wide, and also can't forget about the height of the box, due to the fact of the tension rods for the trunk and the trunk arms

38 is the widest if you plan on sliding it in but if you build it in the trunk i think you can do 40" or so..

but 38.5 may fit it will depends on how deep the box it because you may get one side in then turn her around while its in the trunk..MAYBE

pretty much the same ones that are under the hood, i can get ya a number tomorrow

i just picked them up from autozone or a simple autoparts store

Yeah I was trying to use this but I went to AZ and they said that these numbers don't match with their system.

i think its 6" of play in the strut

but u should find them at any parts store
