ipod connection for ipod?

hey guys i have a 4th gen with a factory bose stereo and i did a search in regards to hooking up my ipod but only came up with an option as far as opening the factory radio and soldering a connection to the circuit board which is something not too comfortable with so is there a aftermarket in line harness that is available? hopefully something that is user friendly and has somewhat good quality sound thanks

Yeah, it looks like a direct connection, so you should be good to go quality-wise. Well, as far as that goes, mp3s don't have the best quality audio..
