should i go with 6x9 on the read deck??

i want to change the rear speakers in my max, i have kicker on the front and 2 CVR10¨ on the trunk. I get a set of 6*9 kicker DS6930 and enough dymanat extreme for the read deck from my bro because his car was stolen a day before he install it on his altima, so ge gave it to me, and i wanna know if it worth to make the 6x9 holes on the rear deck to put the kickers and put the dynamat on the rear deck, or i should forget about saving some money and get the 6.5¨

If ey were free and the labor is free. I say go for it. I personally stopped running rears at all some time ago. But if you want them, and the cost is obviously right , then go for it. You really only need to make a 6x9 adapter. No need to cut, that is unless you want to.

but can i put the 6x9 on the rear without cutting the metal and still put back the stock carpet cover, or the adapters goes over the carpet?

i wouldn't bother.

cutting up the car isn't worth doing for something that will ultimately make your system sound worse.

Think underhung. No need to mess up the cosmetics of the rear deck.

6x9 in the rear deck? Kick it old school style. Typical wisdom says no, but if you want some volume, a nice set of 6x9 can put out a lot of sound. I had some Pioneer 6x9 4ways back in the day that rocked hard. I'm with Filtor1, if it's cheap enough do it. If you don't like it later take it out.
