Dynaudio System-362

Hello its tax time and i'm making plans for the cash. I've decided to go for the Dynaudio 360 3 way components for the front I will keep the rear doors with the polk coaxals I already have. I am looking at the Morel ultimo 12" for the trunk. I need some advice on amps for this set up I have been a complete knucklehead when it has come to this in the past but i finally have the budget to get some really nice stuff. Any help on what to look for would be appreciated.

BTW the head unit is already in the garage a kennwood 8120.

Lots of amp choices, you should do some research.

Umm? Im looking for advice on which direction to look because ther are alot of choices. was hoping for experiences with certain brands models etc. so I coul dknow where to look. most write up i see for amps are pretty much paid pumps. The only reason I am sure about the speakers i've chosen is because I ve heard them both separately and was very impressed but never bothered to find out what was pushing them.

Is this a system 360 or 362? Title states 362, but you said 360 in the first post.

Budget is $3k for amp(s) alone? Sub and Dyns I am assuming?
Do you plan on going active ever?
What is your ultimate goal? Quality or output?
Where will you be mounting everything?
Powering your existing rears from the HU ( I assume and hope?)
Where are you located?

Well then I think we can fit in a very nice blend with www.trutechnology.com With a few mods to the amps, your cabin would certainly sing.

*Ahem*

I have had the 362 system for well over 6 months now. Sings well inside the car and can be heard outside as well. I have a Tru s44 amp which I guess is considered their budget version but I think you can afford a better amp from them. I currently only have the 362 speakers (no rears) and a 15" JBL in a sealed box (very accurate) .Regardless, one of the main selling points about this amp aside from great SQ is its ability to take a beating. With its huge heat sink and computer style fan, I have NEVER had an issue with overheating. You have many options with that budget. I went passive but may go active in the future if my budget allows it. Also, you will definitely need some sound deadening. The door speaker is huge and has so much bass that it scrolls my window down a lil after some songs.

A guru on here can explain the difference better than me (active vs passive). I believe active allows your amps to handle the crossover work versus passive which you let the crossover that comes with the 3 way components to do the work. The benefits of active is more control over the system and generally sounds a lot better. For example, 2 speakers in your 362 setup can handle the same frequency but with a seperate amp for each speaker, you control the frequency for each speaker, whereas the crossover that comes with the system will allow all speakers to handle the same frequency provided they are capable of handling it (even if they are not best for it). Sorry for the confusion but someone here can explain it better.

BTW, I purchased my system (362 and tru amp) from Pearl96max. He also installed it for me. Highly recommended for install, purchase, questions, answers, whatever u want to know

Supremo or Piccolo ? To me it wouldnt be hard if it was the Piccolo - the MD102 would be an easy choice over it. Now if it was the actual Supremo, then I can see some difficulty. However mounting that beast is not an easy task either.

What exactly have you heard so far ? More importantly tell me about it ..

Environment?
Source ?
Amplification?

well today I heard the Supremos in a listening room amped by a pdx 4.150 at car stereo plus
and for the sub they had a w6 powered by a pdx 1000.1
The source unit was an alpine w505

Before I head Dynaudio's in a BMW and the sub was a morel ultimo 12" but I have no idea what amps he had in there.
