Pioneer tweeters

Pioneer tweeters

ok this is m problem......i bought some tweeters like 6 months ago and i have not installed them yet. there is a built in crossover in the tweeter...how do i hook it up so i cna hear the words clear from the tweeter???

do i just take the + from the tweeter and mathc it up with the + on my door speaker...same with the -??? how do i get them to work... i tried hooking them up liek that when i first bought them but nothing happened what am i doing wrong guys??? thanx in advance...Tom

are you running them off stock speakers? stock head? bose or non?? amplified or not??? need some more info...

i have no bose system...aftermarket door speakers and a pioneer head unit....there is a built in crossover in the tweeter i think i am hooking them up right but they dont work......so i need some help soon.....

ps...i have subs(obviously) so i need to hook these bad boys up quick cuz i have too much bass and i can barley hear the words.......thanx in advance

This is a little off, but did you just buy tweeters and where? I'm looking to buy just tweeters to replace the stock ones.

i got mine at crutchfield.com and i bought them during the summer.....

So you're saying you contected the left to left and right to right from the tweeter to the speaker and nothing happened? Did you try both?

no i did not hook up both tweeters...does that matter???
