Security Question

I bought my 5.5 gen and a security system came with it. I still use the original remote but I do have a aftermarket alarm system installed while the original is bypassed.

Anyway, I am in the process of upgrading my alarm with individual additions like:
1) New Microwave Motion sensor. The current one is not sensitive enough. Was able to jack the vehicle up quite a bit before it went off.

2) Glass Sensor

3) Shock Sensor

I would also like to purchase a 2-way pager remote and replace my stock remote with it. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this?

In addition, does anyone know of a nice loud siren for my alarm? I currently have the default multi-tone sound.

Thanks

The stock fob won't ever be bypassed, the batteries most likely just died.

1) Do you mean a tilt sensor?? most alarms do not come with this..
2) A glass sensor is a little bit of waste of money, IMO - a properly set shock sensor will without question trip stage two and blare the alarm
3)The alarm should already have a shock sensor, If you cant get it to trip at all its either set too low or disconnected, etc

I highly doubt a two-way pager can just be added to this system, unless you know it had one in the past. Id suggest you have a new alarm put in. It seems there are some things wrong with the install, and you want a 2-way anyways

Thanks 99. I thought I could just upgrade my system but I guess I need to bite the bullet. At least I will know what I actually have and not have to guess.

Peace.

i agree the stock alarm is still active and up grade to a 2-way pager alarm is the way to go but the one u got on right now u just need to turn up the shock sensor so that even if a bug hit the glass the alarm will give a warning if thats what u want and for a loud alarm they are all the same realy but what i did was i got a air horn and connected it to the alarm and my stock horn on my car so trust me air horn is the way to go her is the link to air horn and the 2 way pager alarm, u can get the air horn from autozone or ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-New-Hella-...3A1%7C294%3A50

I got a headache reading this. Please use proper punctuation. And please stop posting ebay links.
