Need to know what it is

Hello .org.

I have this old *** amp.

http://forums.maxima.org/members/bas...97-kenwood.jpg

It has a plug-in where you can wire the amp into the rear speakers i believe if you don't have an aftermarket deck. My mazda is brand new and i don't want to put an aftermarket deck in. What i need to know is what is the plug i'm referring to called? Also, do you know where i can get it for an amp thats this old? It works fine but like i said, there isn't even an installation kitmade for the 2010 mazda 3 and i'm not hauling my dash apart n a 2 month old car..lol.

Any help or other ideas in wiring in the amp would be appreciated. Thanks

Sean

what I mean by "imagine" is that I am not sure things will be as easy as you think they will be, how will you run the wire from the speaker to the amp, can you get in there and splice wires, will you be able to run a 12v cable from the battery to the amp in the trunk, in your brand new car?

The LOC is the device you want in any case.

ok...thanks...i have no trouble running a power wire. And luckily enough, there is about 4" of wire you can see from the speaker. I'll check into the LOC
