NE area audiobahn help
preferably close to 03867. Just purchased a bunch of audiobahn equipment from a friend. 1 - 2400 watt amp, 1 - 9 farad capacitor, 2 - 10" subs and 2 - 12" subs. he says the 2 - 12" and 1 - 10" are ok. said he hooked up one 10" backwards and it caught on fire. I removed all the subs from the enclosers and one of the 12" sub jacks that are in the enclosure wall was all melted like the 12" was acctually the one that caught fire. so im going to test those tonight...but besides that he said the RCAs is prob the problem with the amp and i dont remember what he said about the capacitor...so i was wondering if someone who knew alot about it could take a look at them, i removed the covers and everthing seems to be intact and not burnt up or anything. i only paid 200$ for everthing(in payments) so its worth having it lookedat, i just know none of the locals know what they are talking about when it comes to audiobahn.
i posted another thread in the NE section. hope the seniors dont get mad ive tried searches. even if someone could point me in the right direction id be more than happy.
also plan on attempting my second fiberglass encloser and might need some help with getting it done right
thanks fam!
