Rear door (driver side) is locked from inside and outside .. please help

I have Nissan Maxima 2002 SE

My rear driver side door is locked and I can not open the door from inside and outside ... I can not open it from inside because the child lock is on but I do not know why I can not open it from outside ... Maybe the exterior door handle is bad ...

the center lock is working fine..

I do not know how to remove the inside door panel .. because it is locked

Is there a way to remove the exterior door handle without removing the interior door panel?

please help ... anyone has the same problem before ?

Had this happen before. Take the door handle trim off. Remove the 10mm bolt holding the handle to the door. Then with a pair of needle nose pliers grab the locking "rod" and pull it towards the front of the car.
That should unlock it.
Once the door is open take the panel off so you can remove the inner door handle. Theres a hole where the hooked end of the door lock "rod" goes in. They have the tendency to break over time. No good way to fix it, but replace it with one from like a junkyard.

Interior door handle trim. The 'ring' around the handle.

Use a small flathead screwdriver. Be very careful.

Option #2: remove your lower rear seat and try to remove the interior door panel from there.
