I need some 16awg wire, hopefully by tomorrow, so I can install my kappa component set. I was wondering if anyone here has used the wire from lowes/home depot? Ive read online, I havent really seen anything negative about it but I have read that Car speaker has "goodies" in it(IDK)
What do yall think? I can get 50 foot at lowes for ~$15, or at phoenix gold 50' for 21.99

 

its wire, YOU arent going to notice any sound quality difference

 

as long as it's stranded copper with a decent enough jacket, you're fine.

avoid solid core wire, non-copper wire, or wire with a really thin/nasty jacket.

 

ive used some from lowes it works just fine
