preamps

I've been reading a few threads about how to install an aftermarket deck with the bose system. I have a 2002 Maxima with Navigation system and bose system (not sure if those come as a package so I just listed it anyway).

It is my understanding that I will need to use the preamp output on a new deck to use my existing speakers. My question is, how many sets of preamps will I need? a pair for the front speakers, a pair for the back and a pair for the subs?

Thanks!

2 sets of preamps 1 for the fronts 1 for the rears, the rear runs the bose sub. if u are running an aftermarket amp u will need another set of preamps. most guys use the metra 70-7551 harness, i run a schosche harness that uses no preamps u just wire each speaker lead to the converter which is nice for me cuz my HU only has one set of preamps
