door speaker size '96

why's crutchfield say that the speaker size for the 96 is 6 3/4 when the stock ones say 6.5. can you fit the 6 3/4 or no?

because I just bought new Rockford tostada 6 3/4 from crutchfield and can't seem to get them to fit the door. Pls help should I return them for 6.5's or what?

get the 6.5"...or you will need to make a custom ring to make the ones you have work.

yeah I'm sending them back for a refund..:/
but least now I know.Ty

but no I didn't get those but I prolly will because I wanted to go with components I just don't know where to mount the crossovers or wire them even.
it just alot easier to buy 3 way full range 6.5's

I'd prolly have to do some custom mounting for the crossovers
I already know where the tweeters would go and how

im just looking for a 6.5 2/3 way speaker for the front door.
i bought the car with no rear speakers. i just moved the door ones to the rear deck
now i nothing in the front and would just like a replacement right now
ill put in a nice component sys(front) 6x9 (rear) soon enough but just looking for 6.5 that will fit.
