taillight gauge size wires need to add quick splices

anyone knows the pos. and the neg. gauge size wires of the tail light. i would like to add the correct size quick splices for the camera. thanks.

Im not going to go check but i believe they are 12 or 14

thanks for the info. i have 2 questions.

1. is there a tool to check on the wire size?
2. do you folks use the tail light wires for the camera?
