do you like them? are you competing? i have a POS 12" xtant in my trunk, built in a box i made from my old desk. it's ugly, it sucks, but it's bass. i don't compete, and i hate flat music. i used to have two perfect 12s, and those were nice, but i had to sell them. i have bass now, i might not win a competition, but it's bass. it sound snice, that's all that matters.

No, IMO, JL does not suck. I use them and love them. Hell I spent a small chunk of change on the Stealthbox with a 10W6 in it and love it. Does everyone like them? No. Why, cause their jelious

JLs rule

I have always owned JL subs and I love them...from the W0s to the W6s. They are some of the best subs out that is why everyone should own at least one. I don't know of any people that are unhappy with JLs...right now...I'm running on 12w0 and it's awesome for the price and of course the SQ

I agree, JL's are very good. I have a 12w3 and it gets very loud and sounds very good. My friend has a 10w0 and it sounds really good even with his 125 watts going into it. JL subs sound really good for the money IMO. Dont let people tell you that, its prolly cause they really are jealous!

Andy has that box in his trunk and his story was one of a nightmare about the install. I even had to tune it for him at a meet. I think he had it done at a store here called Tweeter and the techinicians were a joke.

I know Jl's are really good but Nakamichi's hit just as hard and cheaper. Ive compared the 2 for a while now. I rate those 2 brands around the same and at the top.
Peace
