Help Wanted: SoCal (310) Audio Installers
Sup org? I have a few audio components that I'm looking to get installed. Not looking for a shop to do it; rather a cool knowledgeable orger that I can do it with. Will shoot you lunch and beers for the trouble!!
List of things Im looking to get installed:
Double din
2 15's
Amp (subs)
Capacitor
EQ
PA System
I also have 2 7" headrest monitors but they need to be upholstered into the headrest itself and as of now Im broke to do so. Axles and brakes are shi++ing on me as we speak so monitors will have to wait....unless someone knows how to do it or knows of someone who can do it for the low. Also have another amp for speakers but I cant afford to get any so Ill be running the stock Bose speakers for now.
I dont have any of the wires needed for the install so if you do decide to lend me hand and school me on this, let me know what I'd have to get so I can try to score them off of eGay or something.
Thanks in advance!

Oh man!!!! Talk about s**ty timing! If I didn't just move out of the state 3 weeks ago I'd def be down to help. I was a car audio install manager for 6 1/2 years. I have all the knowledge and tools to do this in my sleep lol. If you wanna wait for march I'll help you out! I'll be back for a week or two for my b-day and the 1 yr meet. Maybe give you some time to save up for your speakers and just do it all at once. And I've done my axles and brakes a couple times so I could help with that too. I know 3 months is a long time to wait, but if you want to, I'll help!

Appreciate that. Ill check that out if all else fails. I have a couple of orgers down to do it, but their schedule conflicts with mine so Im trying to figure out when I can be free.
post up pics of what you have or send them to me in a pm if you dont want all to kno what your doin. your gonna for sure need an amp install kit which depending on which one you buy should have everything you need to install the one amp with rca's for the sub amp from HU, youll need a wire harness for the HU to work with factory blose system, metra 70-7551 is what i used an got it off amazon shipped next day for under $20 an this is for the HU to blose, you heard mine on sunday an how easy it was to do an wire so yours wont be all that much harder to do. the hardest part is tryin to hide all the wires
. basically from the HU youll have 1 set of rca cables goin to the amp, a blue wire for remote turn on for the amp (HU actuallys sends a signal thru this wire to switch on the amp automatically when HU powers up) an a ground from amp to car, as far as your headrest monitors go i have no clue on those but the wiring shouldnt be that hard its just gettin them into the headrest thats the tricky part an the p.a. is almost like a cb but again ive never wired one up
on a different note, where did you get your monitors at? ill be in the market as soon as money allows for the kids in the back.....ok ok for me too lol

You the man Jim! Cleared thing sup for me. Ill be looking those kits up and ordering if my pockets allow me (damn tickets
). Wiring isnt the issue for me (actually one of my stronger suits when it comes to cars). Its the mounting of everything. Like I was saying, I didnt know where to begin taking the console apart and Im heavy handed. I would end up breaking something
. PA system has been hooked up for awhile but now its mysteriously broken (body shop??
).....
Headrest monitors I scored off craigs. But eGay usually has em in pairs at reasonable prices. Some actually come with games installed.
