200 amperage enough?

200 amperage enough?

looking to buy another altenernator since my garbage *** irragi went out... DONT BUY IRRAGI ALTERNATORS.. im just wondering will this be enough to handle 3 amps..

200 amperage

for


1 orion 5,000 watt amp (not gonna be pushing more that 3,000 out of it)
1 820 hifonics amp
and 1 600 watt amp not too sure wat brand yet..


if anyone knows where i can get a higher amperage alty from please post

barely, Id get another alt if you're running that much power (I mean it will help, but you'll still probably have dimming). Go with DC Power this time, do it right - they make the best HO alts

i had the stock alternator with a battery in the trunk and upgraded the battery under the hood and never had problems...i had three amps as well (mmats 3500.05, Alpine pdx 4.150 and JL 300/2)

did you have an isolator on the batt in the trunk?
i can turn up my volume to 25 and just a lil bass and voltage holds pretty stead @ 14.. but once i turn the bass boost half way lol it drops down to 12 then 11.9 11.6 and bounces up to 12 if there is bass relief

Just on a side note if you have bass boost at 50% your signal is most likely clipped as all hell.

dont use bass boost.... it makes it sound like garbage and strains your amps too much (and in turn your electrical system) if the voltage drops quickly like that

upgrade and/or tune your equipment to get the sound you want WITHOUT bass boost
