Trouble shooting

Arc 2500xxk pushing one 12' arc sub.
running mono not bridged
full setting, not xover

Not getting anything from the sub. Power light on the amp is on but i havent ruled out the amp being faulty...

Looking for some help...missing my low end. Any ideas? I am not the most audio savvy.
Anyone one in CT or Mass that would want to help trouble shoot this for me?

Thats the thing. I bought the amp used to match my 4 chan. Which i used to be running briged to my sub and front stage.

Installed it and....nothing.

Wiring appears to be good. Connections are in good shape as well. No fuses blown.
Front stage is all ive been running for the winter...but now that its summer i want to address this issue.

I got the amp for a pretty good price thinking that if it does have any issues i could send it back to arc and have them do any work that would need to be done. Before i pull the trigger on that i want to make sure i dont have something screwed up.

Make sure the battery and remote line both have voltage on them. If they don't then use a volt meter to measure the output voltage coming from the head unit via the RCA connectors at the amp. Set the volt meter to AC. Make sure to have the volume turned up a bit. Depending on your head unit it should be between 2v-5v. If you good there then measure the output voltage of the amp at the speaker outputs. Depending on the amp you could get up to 40v+. If your good there then its either the speaker wires or the speakers themselves.

could be a faulty amp. try hooking the amp to another speaker and see if it'll play. those xxk amps are pretty solid (i run two myself), but it can be bad if the previous owner didn't know what he was doing with it.

Try running the amp to one coil of the sub at a time, disconnect one coil of the sub at a time, and also try running it bridged into a safe ohm load, one channel could be blown causing an issue.
