Did you use a diversity antenna adapter when you installed it?

Nissans have 2 antennas on their cars. Depending on what model some have 1 in the rear window and one outboard. The antenna adapter converts 2 antennas into one so you can plug it in an aftermarket deck. TV reception will vary big time depending on where you are at. The antennas generally go in the inner part of your windshield. Make sure you read the instructions on how to mount the antenna a specific way. Wait until DirecTV satellite is available for Maximas next year!

Buy the Nissan fm antenna adapter. It's about $10.00 or so at most auto parts store or car audio shops. Just ask for a Nissan antenna adapter. They should be able to help you out and your fm reception problems should get better.
