Possibly 4 sale 500a2 rockford amp, 12" rockford XLC w\ ported box

hey im interested.
did you have bose system? and you had that amp and sub hookedup to bose? cause i had bose and just replaced mine with aftermarket headunit only. so i was wondering if i could buy amp and sub. cause somebody mentioned that you have to cut amps from each speaker or something. so please help me out. and tell me how yours set up.

Yes, I have the Bose system. I purchased the adapter which costs about $45-60 if I recall. The way it works is I had to run the sub threw the back speakers (6x5's) which are located in the back. The sound quality is not as good but it sounds decent. It would produce a lot more bass w/ the after market deck. If you are going to redue your whole system you might as well buy all new speakers instead of cutting the amp off. I have never heard of that idea but if you know what you are doing, more power to you. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask.

Oh, sorry. I just thought you were asking me how my setup worked.

For the amp I will take $260 shipped because it is near brand new. Here it is on e-bay. Take a look at it.

The sub is going to cost a lot to ship, but if you want it, I'll take $160, shipped. Shipping is going to cost a lot. it is up to you.
