Question On Speaker Intergration...

Hey all,

So for the second time these last few weeks I hear a car go by blasting Spanish Music (Bachata to be exact).

Anyway, their cars were ridiculously loud in Mids and Highs. The only speakers I could see being that loud in a vehicle would be Live Stage Monitors/ DJ equipment.

SO do people actually do that in their cars to get them that loud?

I remember the first car I seen, I could tell there was some speakers in the rear deck that were at least 8" or 10".

to what dj said.

there are a lot of car audio goodies that will play very loud and very clear (image dynamic horn tweeters comes to mind)

get them professionally installed and you will have a very loud setup.

Plenty of individuals (regardless of race) simply have no proper knowledge of car audio. Information is passed along through friends or acquaintances because the basics are easy to pick up. It's the intricacies that make all the difference. It's just one really bad game of telephone.

im aware of what you are saying, and was simply stereotyping. my line of work is actually mobile audio/vid/security etc. i have read, seen, and heard lots of ev setups and have yet to hear one that sounds good.

simply put, i was bluntly and racially answering his question of yes, people do install house/ev speaker setups in their rides.

i work in s. brunswick, but i live near springfield. hopefully i can get a transfer closer to home, the travel kills me in gas, i spend about $150+ every 2 weeks in gas, plus the 40 min+ ride in traffic sucks on rt. 1.

I think they would've went cheaper than ev and just grab some technical pro or gemini equipment. I had a friend back in the day used to run a sub box with horns built into it. The hi's were ridiculously loud but it sounded horrible.

I have some old RE XXX mids in my front stage, with Rainbow tweets (can't remember the model) going through some PPI art series amps under my fron seats, and I can turn up the **** pretty high and it retains good SQ. But I also have FG kickpanels in my front doors.
