I am thinking about getting 2 JL AUDIO 12W3's or 2 JL AUDIO 15W3's . But I am not sure what amp to go with what, I am pretty new to the whole speaker scene. I was going to put a JL AUDIO 500/1 AMP to the 2 12W3's, I was not sure what to get if I go with the 15W3's. Would it be ok to hook up a fosgate 800/1 or 1000/1 to the 15W3's? Or are the fosgate amps sucky? If they are, what amp should I hook up to the 15W3's? Please help!!

A perfect match would be the JL 500/1 with 2 JL 12W3'sOriginally posted by majatoi

I like punch amps, i ran 2 jl 12w3's off of a punch 500a1. it sounded fine. But the jl's owuld sound better off of a 600w amp.

Why would you say that when both of them together handle 500 watts RMS?Originally posted by disgookonfiya

You should go with 12w3 d4's because if u wire them right, it will have a 4 ohm load. Most amps when bridged can only run at a 4 ohm load. I got d4's because that is what the guy at the stereo store told me to get.
