To preface this, I'm a newbie but did try searching, but came up empty handed. So if this has already been talked about, sorry.

I have a 2008 maxima with factory navi. Not a fan of the toggle button ( enter button) and other features it's lacking. So I have 2 questions:

1. What are the different features on a 2009' 2010, or2011 factory navi models? Basically anything after my 2008. I.e.dvd player? Better buttons? Better Bluetooth ( says the name of person calling), integrated iPod hookup/playing, my biggest pet peeve... Does the bluetooth come out of all speakers?? Etc. I hate how phone calls on come from passenger side front speakers!

2. Assuming its better than mine, is it possible to swap my head unit/ navi with a later year? Anything need to be done or just plug and play? Assuming I can find one that is...
