I am an Audioretard

So I am gonna ask you guys this.....
Since I am an audio retard, I am keeping my factory bose system in my '96 SE, at least for now. What I want to do is add a multidisk changer. What I really want is one with the remote head on it, and one that will tell me what disc is playing/selected instead of just a number (like alphanumeric). Does anyone make a changer that will plug right in?? price??
thanks in advance.....

you will need an RF modulated piece. There is no plug and play unit for stock Bose headunits. Clarion, Audiovox, Prestige, Koss, Aiwa, JVC all make RF modulated pieces ranging from $120-$300. Im not real familiar with who makes changers cause i never reccomend them to anyone that buys from me, unless they beg for one

Be aware that the RF modulated units have crappy sound quality compared to direct-link units.

Please please please step away from the RF converter. The only thing that and RF converter will do is make installing easier, but you give up CD quality sound for something less.

Anyway, look here, they claim to have adapters that can connect CD changers to the BOSE;
