I have a 2 din bose, which I am finally replacing with a JVC 2din.

Will I need a dash kit to cover an ugly space between the new aftermarket jvc 2din and the dash, or is that only for non-2din maxima original hu setups?

Just to double check, all I need parts wise is the 2din HU, which is with a 5volt amp:

Metra 70-7551
Metra Antenna adapter

Do I need Pac converter, or is the 5 volt enough to just use the metra 70-7551.? I read a post that claimed you don't need a pac if the aftermarket HU has more than 4 volt amp, and the aftermarket HU I am installing has a 5 volt amp. I don't know how accurate that post was.
