Does anyone know how much the JL 1000/1 amp will start out at Retail price?

 

cost is in the ballpark of $300-400

forget JL and get rockford fosgate or alpine!!!!

 

 

 

You cant compare the three, fosgate is coming out with some low quality stuff now adays, the retail on the JL is supposed to be in the 1000-1200 range. That is straight from somebody who deals with JL on a daily basis, any low ball prices probably wouldnt include warranty

 

how about a 600 watt kenwood amp for only 150? let me know

what are you looking to power?

 

3 to 4 JL 10W3's

 

JL 500/1 at least or the 1000/1 depending on how many you want. Each voice coil needs 125 watts rms for optimum sound. There are 2 voice coils per speaker. You do the math....

 

the 500x1 will handle 3-4 10's easy. I had that amp pushing 3 15w3's over the summer in this guys Blazer i did, and the amp never got warm, lol!
