audio help

Just tried to replace my Bose with my clarion. At first it worked fine then when I started to out everything back together I decided to hook the other black wire to the clarion ground and the other black wire. Heard something pop and deck won't turn on and even hooked the Bose back up and it kept making popping noises from the speakers. I checked the fuses and they're OK. It was working fine before I hooked up the other wire. Also when it was working my bass doesn't sound as good as when I had the Bose in it. Any help

Same thing happened to me when I was changing my head unit....except somehow I blew a fuse without hearing the popping sound.....DOUBLE CHECK your fuses for the radio itself & under the dash

You need a special converting harness so your after market HU plays at 1 ohm
