FSM says, in EC page 114 that on a 1999 Maxima, the PHASE crankshaft position sensor is located at pins 44&48, and that the POS crankshaft position is at 49.
okay fine.
When I did a continuity test on pins 44&48, it led me to the REF CAMSHAFT position sensor, not the CRANKSHAFT PHASE sensor? The FSM states that the CAMSHAFT position sensor is on pins 46&47...when I did a continuity on these pins, that only leads to one of the SIX pins on the main right bank input plug...which leads to the CRANKSHAFT position sensor on the pulley...
Am I missing something here
