factory speakers not playing

factory speakers not playing

I need some help with my 2012 max.My rear deck subs are not playing.This is not the Bose system, please help.

Maybe you blew the sub? Take (2) wires, connect one to the positive & negative then take a 9 volt battery then rub the same (+) & (-) on the battery, if you hear a poping sound then the speakers aren't blown....Don't do it too much or you'll blow your speakers

^ You can't blow your speakers by doing that...

OP, double check all the wiring to the speakers. Your amp might be shot though.

I checked the amp and all I get is 1 hot wire going to the amp when the switch is on but nothing is hot when switch is off.Do factory amps have a battery positive wire hot at all times?
