Good place to get dynamat extreme? (cheap)

over the next couple of weeks i will be completely deadening my 2k2 max and was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap place to get dynamat extreme (i needed it for the whole car), circuit city and mobile one have it but i figured it would probably be cheaper online--sounddomain and uscaraudio don't carry it so if anyone knows of a place please let me know so i may have the chance to get more than i originally plannned
thanks,
matt

p.s. how much should i be looking at to get it installed if i'm doing the whole car except the ceiling??

do a search for Raammat. it's jsut as good, and it's MUCH cheaper than dynamat extreme.

it comes in large rolls for about $60/roll. I bought three rolls, and only used 2 rolls to do all 4 doors and my trunk. 3-4 layers on the trunk and front doors- inner and outer skin, 2 layers on the back doors.

good stuff. made a huge difference in road noise. 120mph on the highway now sounds like it used to at 60.

Go to a dealer tell them you want a hole roll. They can get a whole roll for about 300.

You asked specifically for dynamat. So a roll of dnyamat. it will be enough to cover every part of the car...floor pan, underback seat, trunk, doors, etc. Any dealer that sells dynamat(by name) Or you can get a roll of cascade v block. Those are the 2 i like. Then there is the stuff Scott buwalda used to cover his floor it's like a rubber compound that soaks up vibration and road noise. If you want to look into that I'll get the name.

peel and seal never heard of but just sounds bad.

I love the results I have had with peel and seal. On a dollar for dallar basis it is the cheapest. It's at least as good as dynamat extreme. Possibly the same as ramm mat, I haven't had a direct comparison myself because I have been too lazy to send a sample to sweetsound. Whitemax has used both. It's not the cure all, end all, solution to every noise in the car. But it's a damn good place to start.

do a search on raammat on this forum.. you'll find a post about it with the guy's contact info. If you're going all-out on the system and don't worry about weight, I'd say buy 4 rolls (will cost $220 + shipping, if he's still selling for $55/roll). that'll weigh about 80lbs for all 4 rolls.. jsut remember that. it's not light.

...........

Just pulled up an email of his from when I bought mine. Name is Rick McCallum, and email is raam@raamaudio.com
each roll was $55 for 50 sq ft. he recommends at least 2 layers on most of the car. that'll means you'll need 3-4 rolls to do the entire floorboard, doors, trunk, etc.
