Stock Bose sub cuts off.

I was driving and noticed I wasn't getting the bass. So when I got to my destination I kept my car/ radio on and fiddled with the connections to the sub. After wiggling for about 10 seconds it came back on. Figured "No biggie" and turned the car off. It did it again and this time I can't get it to work again. Did my sub just die or is it something else?
