Neon Lights Rods??

I was thinking of getting two 10' neon light rods from custommaxima.com. I know you have to plug them in the cigarette lighter thing. So I was wondering if thats the only way to give them power. Can I get the power from somewhere else, because my radar is plugged in the cigarette lighter thing. Say can I hook them up to something else?? I know this sounds dumb, but I just want to know because I don't want wires all over the place. Thanks, Richard.

I would recomend that you run a swith from a fuze that is always hot.. That way you can take time to hide the wires and turn them on and off whenever you want.. If you need any other advice with that email me ChiTwista@Yahoo.com I have ran many switches and would have no problem helping you..

Thanks Chitwista. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I plan on ordering my neon rods on friday, so they should be here by next week. Well when I get them I will email you if I need any specific questions. Thanks, Richard.

Its better to just wire it to a switch. You dont want them on every night you know, its gets boring quick that way.
