its a 12 inch audiobahn AW1200, i know it says ported/sealed, but i dont even know what that means. Help! im new at this

It tells you in the first sentence. Ported or sealed. It depends on what type of music you listen to and how you listen to it. And how critical are your ears? If you are like the average person you are more interested in ****ing off the people across from you at intersections, go with ported.

i mainly listen to rap.....and yeah i want people to hear it, so i should go with ported right that just means it has the hole in the box correct? i can get at least that from the name, i told u im new at this!

Basically yes. Make sure you get the port length and diameter. And make sure you make the box as near the exact volume they advise for that tuning frequency, or it will be tuned wrong. The volume does not include bracing, driver, or port.
