Help finding the right speaker harness

Hey Everyone!

I am looking to find the right metra speaker harness that plug into stock plastic plug and have two wire leads on other end...to use with aftermarket speakers..
I want to go this route for ease of reverting to stock if necessary.
The part i have ordered and received is not right...can anyone point me in the right direction..
the one i have is the metra 72-7400.

Cars a 2002 maxima se, NON bose system.
help

edit...

I read it again and saw that you were talking about these. Give Crutchfield a call to see if they can help you.

Just got off a chat with crutchfield...they say
"Im afraid we do not have a speaker harness for the vehicle. Looks like you will need to splice wiring."

Can anyone attest to that? I didnt want to cut if possible to avoid..but i guess thats looking to happen. he says only the bose system has a speaker adapter harness...seems odd

You can cut the OEM wires just before the harness, & add some of your own speaker wire. When you cut the OEM connectors off, make sure to leave enough length to be able to splice them back in case they are needed again.

Another thing you can do is get some of these & tap into the OEM wires without cutting anything. Posi-Taps....
