2 speakers or 4?

I realized today both my original passenger side speakers are shot and sound terrible. The front sounds blown and the rear is dead. Should I just buy one pair of replacment speakers for the passenger side or would all four make a difference? Also, does going from 5 1/4" to 6 1/2" make a real difference? The car has a stock non bose hu w/ a pac ipod adapter. I just want it to sound decent & clean for a factory setup, I figure co axels around $50 per pair. Thanks for any advice.

Get new speakers for just the front for now, see how you like them. Turn the fader to front only.

I broke down and bought all four, they were cheap enough. Thanks for the reply.

Not necessarily, usually just done to make sure the ones you get will bolt up properly to the doors and have enough clearance with the window, but a 6 3/4 could probably be made to fit.
