Is this Possible ?

Hi Friends,

I'm wondering if i can do this with my 03, I35.

ISSUE: I have a stock radio setup and i'm happy with the sound quality. Presently i use a wired cassette player to play audio files via my Cell Phone. I'm happy with the sound quality. I've tried bluetooth, FM transmitters, etc. and i don't get the same sound quality. However, i don't like the fact that A WIRE IS HANGIN in front of my dash!

SOLUTION: A Friend of mine has solved this issue by running a OUTPUT wire from behind his stereo. He lays it on the passenger floor when he is not using his player. It looks better than mine....much cleaner look and the sound is great. No wires in front of the dash.

QUESTION: Can i achieve this with my present Unit?

Thanks for your constructive input...!

ACW, I had the same question when I had my 03 SE Maxima. The short answer is no, there is no AUX port on the back of the radio to plug into. I ended up changing out my radio for a Pioneer double din unit with DVD, bluetooth, nav/sat and touchscreen capabilities.

Ok...Maxgig,

So you are saying there is no way to CREATE an OUT PUT line from the back of the system ?

How are the speakers hooked ?
They must be hooked into the system somehow???

Anyone?
