Lets talk IACV 2001 SE MT

I just bought a 2001 SE and it seems to have a bad IACV.
I havent ran the error codes yet but plan on it soon.

I have done some research and I am aware that the iacv and the ecu goibg bad together. My question is once you replace both, ecu and iacv, are the aftermarket parts redesiged and trustworthy? I believe i read that coolant running thru the iacv leaks thru and causes the short? Is it even necessary to run coolant thru th iacv? I dont.mind.fixing it right but how are yiu guys keeping it from happening again?

Wrong place to post this first of all. Check the codes first before guessing what it is and stop running it like that in case the ECM is not fried yet. Disconnect ur electric motor mounts too, they fry it too like the IACV, look for IACV bypass in the search or google it for an idea how to avoid this in case ur ECM and\or Iacv is ok still...its easy, just need some extra tube or you can use the ones you have their and reroute them and cap them off, I don't recommend this way tho as the tube is not that long and will burst soon from pressure...happened too me

Ok, used the code scanner and i did get the idle air control valve.
I pulled the ecu and opened her up to find obvious burn signs in an area and electrical burn smell.

So now i must find ecu or repair. Will an AT ecu work or must it be MT(I have many junkyards in area and Im considering all fixes. I will also look into ordering the chip and getting this one repaired. Can AT ecu be sent to the place that fixes them and they flash it to MT?

Can i disconnect IACV,disconnect motor mounts, and adjust idle to be higher and drive it around like that?

When the motor mounts fry the ecu- does it fry the same part of the ecu as the IACV?
