Help!!!

Help!!!

I just took out of my bose system, and installed my newly bought panasonic 701.....everythign works except for the CD player. it's player...but i can't hear any sound...and i don't think it's the mute since i played with that button for a while now =\ anyone got any idea??? and is the unit suppose to stick out of the dash???

What year max do you have? And did you replace the whole system(speakers and HU) or just the Bose HU? Cause since you got bose you need an adapter to get the speakers to work. And some aftermarket HU don't exactly fit into the stock DIN spots.

i have ther peripheral pack. anyway that i can fit that deck in? oh yeah..I have a 96 max

I'm not sure what the peripheral pack is. It may or maynot be the as the bose adapter. Is the cd the only thing that doesn't work? Have you tried radio and such?

Check to see if there was a screw on the top or side of the unit that needs to be removed before installation. Some of the older units had them ( i dont think they do now though) but its worth a shot. Also you may have screwed a side screw too far into the unit causing the cd to not go far enough into the unit to play. Or, check to see if there is a cd gain level on the display. Or, Maybe you just got a FUBAR deck? Give me a call and i will try to help you out bro. Charles

i fixed it hehe... went to circuit city, and the guy pointed out that my wire suppposely amp ... i wired it to power antenna or something...and i found out that panasonic label the wire wrong =\ thanks for the help though
