The Kicker ZR240 will definitly push x2 12w3's. This past summer before i sold my 240 i had it pushing x3 12w3's in a sealed box, with ease!! BTW i also has x3 4" cooling fans mounted to it to prevent overheating.
Also buy an SMX crossover-module if you dont have on already, and set it at 80hz LP.
As for the JL's, buy the dual 4ohm 12's and wire them series/parallel, this will give the amp a 4ohm load but will actually run the amp down to 2ohm since there is two subs involved.
Peak power from that amp at 2ohm mono is 300watts!! keep in mind that Kicker always under rates their amps by atleast 100watts. Kicker is definitly one of the best amps on the market for bass.

I had to change my user id because my old one got locked up and I couldn't do anything on the forums. So MaximaDave any ideas for the in dash cross over? I had a pioneer Cd-630 off of ebay that was fully flexible and had three boosts. I really only need the bass boost. But I want to put it under my radio so I can adjust when I need to on the fly. Any ideas? Also how much for the W-3s shipped to 22908? Thanks

Buy a cd player that has a subwoofer output. Some decks even have a crossover adjustment. Example, the Kenwood Excelon line like the KDCX917, KDCX817, and KDCX717. Although, these models are being discontinued shortly, you can find some deals on some closeouts. Check around at some of your local shops. The new lineup should be here in about a month or so.
