Ok so I found a set of Pioneer components new for $100 retail is $170. I have a Pioneer DEH-7000R head unit and love it... Does anyone have anything to say about Pioneer speakers? About the price? Should I get them or not?

[info from crutchfield\

TS-C1653 — 6-1/2" woofers.

frequency response 30-32,000 Hz
power range 2-40 watts RMS
sensitivity 90 dB
top-mount depth 2-7/16"

These new Pioneer components demand to be noticed. Their titanium-colored Foamed IMPP woofers and 7/8" dome tweeters are ready to rock your world with big sound.

The Rigilite™ woofers pump out heavy bass, while the tweeters hit exhilarating highs and can be surface-, flush-, or angle-mounted. Outboard two-way crossovers (with 18 dB/octave high-pass and 6 dB/octave low-pass filters) are included.

These exciting component systems fit in standard 5-1/4" and 6-1/2" openings, as well as many GM and Volkswagen oversized openings.

Thanks!

Chris

Solid buy

I run all pioneer inners and I am completely satisfied with them. But, if you do want to run a lot of power you may want to step up to kappas, mb quarts, and the like.

Pio's are ok,

But for the same price go to http://www.zalytron.com
They Have Focal 2 ways for $99.00. Pioneer doesn't even come close Focals. Just my 2 cents, but it couldnt hurt to check them out...
