? ' s about cap and fuse wiring...please reply

Currently I have a 300wrms amp to a 40 amp fuse in the distribution block and a 160wrms amp to a 30 amp fuse in the block, both by 8 guage wire. Then a 60 amp fuse at the battery w/ 4 guage wire, no capacitor and everything runs smoothly. I'm planning on upgrading to amp that will push 500wrms so I assume that I will have to get a 1.0 farad cap. But when I do, what changes, if any, would I have to make to my fuses? Do i have to get a hi-amp fuse like 100 or sumthin? please answer, a search didn't yield the right results. This is really the only part I don't fully understand about installs. Thanx.

PS. MaximaDave, can I get a quote on a good cap. I don't care much about digital/status readouts. I just want a good cap at a good price, thanx.

Sounds like your current setup is already overkill. I don't see you making any changes....
