What amp is needed to run two 400w kenwood subs?
I will be taking a feed off the stock bose amp. What are the basic specs for an amp to run those clean?

I would buy Zapco, PPI or Arc Audio, or Xtant. They are supposed to be enough to run 2 400 subs. It needs to be 2-channel amp. Not cheap -trust me!

hmm, those amps arew a bit on the high end side, you can probably get away with something lower, since your running the subs with them. but if you can afford those sound quality amps, go ahead and get them to run your subs too.

Is the 400 W RMS or max? I would probably get an amp from Lanzar or another one of the cheapies. I would suggest the JBL bp1200.1, but I'm guessing the subs can't handle a 2 ohm load. That amp is about $250 on ebay

Check out Master Yoshi's listings on ebay. He's got some pretty good deals for cheap amps.
