Just kidding. No need for a group deal if you go thru me. Just as long as there is a Tweeter store near you I give all Maxima.org members special pricing on car audio, home audio/video as well.

Hey dave do can you get discount at hifi buys? I think their part of tweeter too. I jus but a 10w3 from them for 179 and a ported box for 190 plus 30 warranty for the speaker. Can you do better than that?

I just went to the Tweeter store this evening. They have some nice shiet, but it is soo damn expensive. The cheapest 6.5 components (Boston) are 229! If you go to Best Buy, they are like 169, and quality is not much worse. There's another Tweeter store in my area..and they carried slightly different inventory. I realized that these stores often discount on their own, close-outs, etc.

Tweeter has these "wise buys" where we get these special deals through some vendors that nobody else can get. As an example we bought an Eclipse 54400 cd player than normally retailed for $260. and we are now selling them for $199. Eclipse gave us a better deal on this model. Tweeter mainly carries upper-mid to high end electronics. Alot of what Best Buy carries is mid to low end. If you are looking for that entry level product shop BB if you are looking for the "better stuff" and great customer service go to Tweeter.

I dont give a shi** about the customer service, its just who is kissing up better. I am surprised how Tweeter stores dont go out of business, they have no traffic. There'are two in the NW-N Baltimore County.

I hope that they have improved their customer service, because the Tweeter store that was formally United Auido Centers in Vernon Hills IL had some of the crappiest customer service.. As soon as a person younger then 30 came in the place they paid no mind, but when my father and I came in together, the butt kissing began.. They refused to service my Premier HU, which I paid over 700 for, but when my father came in -- "No problem SIR, we'll sent that out right away!" very poor means of conducting service in my book.. HOPEFULLY THEY CHANGED..

I must admit the BOSTON RM9 6x9s that we bought from there were great, and still running strong.
