Transplant Speaker from 89 Audi to my 91Max :D

I know nothing about audio but I would imagine installation wouldn't be too hard.

Anyway I have an Audi 4000 sitting on my driveway and a 91maxima.

on the driver side door speaker it only does bass (thumping) and no treble (right word? it plays no vocal sounds). So I think it's busted. Anyway I wanted to replace it one of these days and figured why not transplant the one from my Audi?

is this feasable? would I bust something major royally?

In theory it could work, but lots of variables to worry about(is the Audi amplified at all, is the Max amplified[BOSE], possibly different sizes, etc etc). Better off to get a cheap set of replacement speakers for the max.

well other then me knowing I have a stock Max im not too sure

I do know that I do not see an amp anywhere on either car so I would assume they are not amplified. and I have a bose system for my MAx

umm...im a big audi fan, and last time i checked, they quit making the 4000 in 87. just curious about what audi it is you have. and with the bose in your maxima, i SERIOUSLY doubt the speaker from the audi would work.
