I need help with my 95 Altima (non bose, non premium). I know this's a Maxima forum but the Altima guys aren't responding and I'd like to finish this tonight.
I'm putting in tweeters to the stock system. For the front driver side, there's a blue/white and a blue/yellow wire going to the stock 5x7. Which wire is positive and which is negative? thanx a bunch!

on the speakers, it should tell u..or the wires...usually they have a "+" sign if the wire is positive.

 

The wire colors you are looking for are as follows:
Driver Passenger
Front Blue/white...+..Brown
Blue/yellow..-..Brown/white......5X7s

Rear Red..........+..Blue
Green........-..Pink.............6X9s

I hope you're adding an inline crossover/capacitor to the tweeter???...

FJC, yeah the tweeter has an in-line capacitor so it's all good. i'll post pics when my gf comes back w/the altima.

Don, can you tell me the wire colors for the front speakers +/- for my non bose system on my 2k2 max? I really need to know what color they are to finish my sound system installation. Thanks man,

The front should be the same as the ones posted above.The ones that would be different would be the rears....
Driver Passenger
L. Green + Blue
Black/yellow - Pink
