Yesturday I received an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 sub in the mail which I bought off ebay so I tried to hook in up in my 2k2 max. I decided to power the amp for now with my old Rockford Fosgate 2.9x 275watt 2 channel amp.

I've decided to keep the stock non bose headunit and use a line level converter. The problem I'm having is that I'm only getting a little buzz out of my sub when everything is hooked up. I checked my ground and its good and my amp is working fine. I suspect that I hooked up the line level converter incorrectly. I wired the converter to the front right and front left +/- speaker wires behind the headunit. However, I'm suspecting that these are not the speaker wires but something else. Can someone tell me what colors the speaker wires are? That would be greatly appreciated.

btw, I hooked the sub up to my home audio system and it worked fine.
