have you ATLiens heard of this box, I have from a couple of co workers. Heard two of the low end rokcford fosgate tens in this box and WOW, about the sound and the price. It made those two tens sound better than two 12s literally . Heard one ten in that box and sounded like two twelves, its incredible! the price is a killer though. For the two ten inch setup it was $799 dollars I take it it was with the speakers included. it better be. Has anyone heard of this box? Dont know how they make it though but its incredible!

That company is based about 5 minutes from my house. I'll tell you about it when I get home. Gotta go now.

The boxes have channels that twist around through the box that greatly amplify the output. I was at an IASCA comp two years ago and this plain Cherokee pulled up in the SPL lane. The two guys opened the hatch to adjust something, and I saw a single 10 in a box. Seemed like nothing special, but the guy scored something like 150db (I can't remember the exact number, but it was huge for a single 10). Everybody was crowding around in amazement. I found out later that he was using a VT enclosure. I didn't get to do any critical listening, so I don't know if it had good SQ, but it sure got loud.

They're cool, but I myself would go with a Deathbox. Cheaper and very effective.

Had one in my integra, now it's the sub in my home theater sub. It's a really unusual bandpass design that doesn't have any notchiness of traditional bandpass designs and is very efficient. Best of all, it is 14"x14"x20", and has an adjustable insert that allows it to be tuned for the car and speaker. The guy who designed this is an audio genius, I've listened to his 5 watt home stereo amplifier, and it would knock your socks off. He also has a box called The Wicked One, which is a dual horn loaded compression enclosure that is sure to make you deaf. I don't know what they're selling any more, you can buy the plans online, but it's a tricky box to build... When I bought mine, they were offering pre cut wood panels that you assemble yourself for like $60, not a bad deal and the cutting is the hardest part.
