Hey guy, I have the 10" Aluminum series. I have them uninstalled right now because I have to do some suspension work on the rear. They are 800 RMS, but I am only capable of pushing them to only 500 RMS a piece. They hit very nice, and are clean sounding. When I have them back in, I'll give you a holla. BTW, they are heavy-*** suckers...

Thanks for your replies guys.

Ramius, I have a 15" on the way, and if I like it, I'll get a second one. That should be enough to make my car sit even with sprint springs.

Yea right. It actually puts out that power, steady at 1 ohm and doesn't give off ANY heat (digital).

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a digital amp.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually don't, because there isn't.

If you consider digital to be ones and zeroes, on and off, then yes, there are digital, or the actual term class D amps. If you want to be lame, you can say they are not digital!

Class D has nothing to do with the word "digital".

class d only means that its a switching power supply. instead of being sine wave style power draw (if on an oscilloscope), the class d's use a variable duty cycle, which is either on or off, which is why they are sometimes referred to as digital, although its NOT actually digital.

Like I said. It depends on whether you consider the definition of digital. Which is a binary numbering system of 1's and 0's. 1 is on, 0 is off. The power supply switches on and off at a high frequency, saving power because the normal class AB amps power supply is always on.
